SylogistGov is hosted in Canada with the Core Financials hosted by Microsoft Canada as a true cloud-based ERP (Canada-only data residency) within their cloud datacenters in Ontario and Quebec. Partner Led Implementations - Unlike the Diamond/Central Square model, Sylogist is following a "Partner-led" model, where multiple implementation partners such as Endeavour Solutions do both the implementation, training and all of the ongoing support, rather than relying solely on the software company to provide these services. Municipal Modules - SylogistGov includes core financials (Encumbrance / Fund Accounting, budgeting, GL/AP/AR, and transactions), Property tax module, Utilities module, Licensing module, and Canadian payroll, time, & HR tracking from Sylogist (Serenic NaviPayroll). Additional modules include portals for citizen self-service (Virtual City Hall), e-commerce, 3rd-party fixed assets management, budgeting, and FP&A along with other popular functions.
Migrating from Great Plains - Dynamics GP is End of Life in 2029, with extended security until April 2031. This will impact Microsoft Dynamics GP users with the Diamond Municipal add-on from Central Square., especially those with Canadian payroll.
Legacy source ERP systems include upgrades from current Sylogist - Serenic Bellamy ERP (AS/400) legacy applications, migration from Microsoft Dynamics GP (Diamond/Central Square), and implementation of New Sylogist Gov ERP systems to replace other legacy municipal applications for municipalities with a population of 5,000 to 100,000+.
Bellamy End of Life January 1, 2026 – End of Maintenance. Sustaining mode support will be provided to retain access to the solution and the provider would continue to provide support and regulatory updates. However, general maintenance or bug fixes, billable services or projects would no longer be offered.
